Stake Thread

BAP (buy a piece) is for players who want to play a specified event (lets say the Stars million) and want to find stakers to back them. For example someone who wants to play a $215 buyin may offer 10 x $21.50 stakes. To post a BAP you must first post in the BAP APPLICATIONS thread. 'f you post in the BAP section without approval your post will be removed. Once you have approval to post in the BAP section you must first send your payment for the ad to our stakeashark account at Poker Stars. The cost of your BAP advertisement varies depending on the amount you are hoping to raise. $1 to $10 - 50c charge $10 to $20 - $1 charge $20 to $60 - $2 charge $60 to $100 - $3 charge $100+ $5 charge Once you have done the above and your payment has been made we will contact you and you can post your BAP. To post your BAP go to the BAP section and click on NEW THREAD.and the screen below will be displayed.
In the THREAD SUBJECT enter a general description of your BAP such as "Stars Sunday Million 4th November"
In the ORIG SALE AMOUNT enter the amount you are looking to raise. In the ORIG # OF SHARES enter the number of shares you intend to offer. In the BACKER'S CUT enter the % return you are offering potential backers. At this point DO NOT enter an amount for STAKES PLAYED or AMOUNT WON TO DATE. In the text area of the BAP enter details of why backers should back you. Give details of recent results and stats from OPR or Sharkscope. When you have entered all the above details click POST THREAD and your BAP will be live.
