i don't care to make many other threads as i prefer to bring up this original one as it's less of a clutter and when a new idea comes forth in my pea brain then everyone gets to see all the pea brain antics all within 1 thread...weeeeeeeeeeeee

as i am pretty famaliar with online poker staking and have seen many good ideas come and go and then come back again etc i propose all these/this...

-there is alot of people that play or stake and they certainly don't stick to just one site for all there investments/playing...more the merrier IMHO.

-i've seen many scams/rollings/etc...as i've been rolled twice now HERE for .85 a time(brb gotta phone someone that cares lolZZZ).

-i buy into BAP's on other sites, once in a while, from players that i trustfully know where i might have been banned from...now what they do is say banned member buys 4 shares or shares bought off-site or just come right out and say it's the PLOPPPER(the guy that flames your pathetic ass for being a complete moron + carries on & on & on....& on get my hint? lol)...or they throw it down as they bought shares of themselves...whatever works right? OBV.

*staking is all done under trust anyways so doesn't matter one bit if i posted somewhere on some site that i have 4 shares or did it discreetly...i can always prove it one way or another...it just gives us that sweeter more secure feeling if we posted it on open forum(or to give us room to whine etc).

but what does proving it do? nothing about getting what i'm entiltled to in my hand/account...it should show trust issues and throws up red flags etc, which is very good to have made ready...then each and every site can do what they do for issues like this.

can they or should they do something about it if it was off site(or on another site)? yes they can and yes they should have some form of system in place...it's definately not so cut'n'dry though is it? so for this site i assume their is something incorporated...whatever it may be as any and every idea should be taken into some form of consideration. where at the least, be modified(if good idea) some how. Smile

*personally i like to see all poker staking sites working together when it comes to security issues...also be nice when it comes to BAP's/private/regular stakes(which is what i am getting to)...

example of easy scam and i GUARANTEE it happens quite enough...my name here at SaS is GOOGOO...my name at NB(or other staking site) is GAAGAA(use own imagination lol)...i put out a BAP here for 'blah blah' as i put out a BAP on other site(s) with alot of the same games within both...i play, i lose, i make money(b/c i got double the buy ins)...i win=i lose b/c i have to pay double now or just roll<------this should NEVER be allowed...

^^^^ so how could we fix the problem? we can do what stakers do and check up on all sites and google players names and so on(works well enough but very time consuming as it is individually done and not as a whole). i'd like to see all sites(especially this one bringing it out not just b/c i am posting this at SaS) helping one another. like the warning/banning list(s) but with more indepth of what they are about and conglomerated amongst all sites, big or small. as long as every site shows a STANDARD of trial was performed to the best of it's ability.

what i mean about a STANDARD is...each warning/banning list is up-to-date and is very very(i do mean VERY btw) thorough on what was implicated for this name/person/member to be on those lists. the more information made easily ready for the public viewing the more respect this site will have as it shows an indepth and thorough taking towards the issue(s) at hand as all similar sites are working to achieve the same goal(as that's to protect there stakers/investors/members never mind there own name...SaS 4 PreZZZ).

-NB(not taking anything away from here nor there) implements 'gear' which is a highly motivating tool to have within there arsenal to have a better outlook on securing there site/place of business.

examples could be...'reason(s) for being on warning/banning list(s)' (begged continuously, rolled, multiple counts of flaming or a flamer<--lolZZZ, spammmmmer[not splammmmmer], inappropriate use of investors funds, given ump-teen chances to follow many rules, _____<--put more here)...'date of offence'...'known names on poker sites'...known names on forum sites & messengers...'IP addy's'...and so on.

all this has and is in effects and can be irrelevant to some points but alot of the people that are on these lists are idiots as they re-use these names etc from time to time or on other sites...especially when they think the heat has died towards them...it closes the doors on there ways and lessens there success in the future...the more info the better, is the basic thought process about all this and as any site that wants to be highly regarded will do everything in there power to make as such.

most sites already have a form of warning/banning list(s) as is here...so more info the better added...but would also be sweet if all similar sites would work together at the highest standard to have as great of a foolproof plan as possible towards security issues like this and other things/ideas that could help out every site.

-psstakes(not taking anything away from here or there and each others lists) has a players/stakers list that shows(or should show) everything that staker or player has done there(proof of purchase and very elaborat/precise)...

example of player's stats

the format here is great http://www.stakeashark.com/newlist.php how's the thoughts on adding to it? how long if good idea? how much($)? and what can i do to help? Smile

enough said for now as i'll add more blabber...last but not least...each country(site) has their own state of rules/laws/etc but mostly all countries work together to some point to strive towards a better understanding and to expedite any & all issues amongst themselves as i feel would be sweet within here as a whole and outted towards the other similar sites like this Smile

hope this had some meaning where others can rely on using their pea brains to modify what's been said,

Clayton
I agree with Show here, I seriously was just thinking this exact thing today.
well written :]

thx, my comp crashed twice while writing it(real piss off) Sad and just again while i was writing another splammmmmer on cake!!!

i hear the pawn shop calling Tongue

maybe when a new member signs up they could be put on hold for applying to stakes for 48 hours or so, until 'security' checks everything they can find on there name(s)...instead of just having members(aka stakers for the most part) check.

also, maybe have it set where not only do they need there poker site name(s) and maybe changing 'send ??? an e-mail' in profile as it doesn't show the e-mail address to check on

...more useless information from your friendly internet SPLAMMMMMER Tongue
I'm reading this Clayton. Keep ideas coming. Smile ty.
cool and speaking of that here's another 1...

idea # 327,586,987...max out ideas per member to 1 mil Tongue
alright don't know how to bring this out ATM so i'll just spew on...

it's GEAR time...

sites do it...it helps make everyone publicly aware...it works in decreasing the already high worries of staking someone(especially unknown)...it's needed in some fashion here n everywhere.<--period

rules are rules and they will be broken...and that's a FACT!!! but what is the penalties needed for certain rules? this is a great start that can go a long way http://www.stakeashark.com/showthread.php?tid=4125

general rules are great http://www.stakeashark.com/showthread.ph...9#pid10449

this rocks and elaborates more on http://www.stakeashark.com/showthread.php?tid=4124

but what if rules aren't broken on here(SaS) but have been in the past on another staking site? should ppl be given another chance for certain past infractions? i think so, depending on the seriousness of the offences.

*for instance...i got banned from another staking site for flaming a future roller(go figure, i knew it lolZZZ) and other dweebs when speaking my peace. yah i was in the wrong by flaming or attacking back(if i didn't start it) and something needed to be put in place to deal with me(as things kind of were).

well i personally felt i did alot more good for this site then bad and when i got banned i got a lil pissed off and created new accounts(enough but not that many) on this site to spam the boards with 100% total immature crud(some of it was just so funny though and warranted a oscar or emmy or whatever award they're called, for my antics) b/c i felt unjustified.

i got let back on b/c some members/admins/mods felt i too was unjustified and contributed more then worsened...but not everyone(the important ones) did, so i got rebanned(lolZZZ). and what did i do??? same immature crud one more time(idiot stick OBV) which just strengthens the points of the ones that say...'i told you so'.

to the point of gear...some ppl ask me why i was banned and i tell them all this(for the most part) but if the site had gear on me that stated: banned for numerous accounts/times of being a flame-tard that this solid player/staker became to much to deal with that we just pulled the plug...well...it would show some depth that's easy to achieve without looking deeper within threads to see what was all the issues(of course ppl will look anyway to get a good laugh at what was said and so on)...which can be very time consuming.

gear could be added to the 'custom user title' as it has been but adding an avatar with a 'gear' pic would help the 'hey-don't-hate-b/c-i'm-elitterwrit' Tongue

some of the rules are a lil harsh to me like...

bad rail: 3rd offence Perma Ban <-----wtf? banned from what? applying for stakes or the site as a whole?

ex; someone could have a short attention span(go figure eh playing poker lolZZZ) or be bad at following directions over and over again or needs that extra lil confidence boost of being told step by step a 'certain' way how to do things to standard or could just be plan retarded(<---put proper wording there plz) but a professional at poker playing.

^^^i don't care for a high standard of a rail as someone else might want and/or i might want it a certain way where no one else cares etc etc etc. perma ban for being a donk over n over again seems a lil strict...but...at the same time how many chances do players need right? well they could n surely might be able to offer the site in other ways so if perma ban from site is what's meant here than we all could be missing out on something valuable from this 'donk' with the bad rails...and to be banned for bad rails tells me there was less positive help for this person and more ban happiness here.

alot of banned ppl looks bad to the general public IMO but in another sense it looks great that the site is ridding and finding all the parasites...but are all the 'banned' members actual parasites? let's hope not.

begging warning for 1st offence/Perma ban for 2nd wow!!! i like it and works well but could there possibly be something in the middle here? like a week or month ban from applying to stakes by chance? or colour coding that rule as a no-no after 1st and only warning?

poker site multi accountingPerma Ban, No warnings this works but i feel it needs to be improvised towards an improvement...

ex; guy starts new name solely to start over with stats or wanted a change of name and didn't take the right approach with the poker site(s) and comes here or player starts a new name to get rakeback as he wasn't formerly informed and wants it now...i'd put player under sanction until player cleans this mess up with poker site(s)/here and shows proof that accounts were closed and etc and regardless if honest dumb azz mistake years ago or whenever the time frame they should have gear that states FMA(former multi accounter on PS or FTP or poker sites as a whole).

Restrictions may be placed on your staking privilages here at SAS if we find out that you have sanctions in place on another staking site

^^^perfect^^^restrictions^^^is the word^^^of the day^^^much better then pure ostracizing...but i would think untop of there restrictions that they have less room for mistakes as they are famaliar with the internet staking realm/industry already. we all know(or at least i do in a criminal sense) that your documents follow you wherever you go...and they hinder you but how does one get back to a better place!!!
so let me ask you a question, since you had a problem with someone, Are you going around and checking everyone's name that dealt with that guy we previously name in the pm... i just wanna know, because first of all, i didnt know that guy until I joined this site, and i have been pretty good to this site i think.. so any other questions, ill gladly answer them, and i also did pm a admin and tell him everything.. so this should be done on ur part.. no more pm's
this is an ideas thread dude...lolZZZ

our issue i brought up to you in PM(aka private) out of respect for your issues(infraction[s] & breaking of SaS rules) and to whom it concerns(admins/mods)...

as to answering your question about background checking other names related to that 'guy'...i do it when the need arises for 'anyone' and definately anyone i feel suspicious with, in anyway. it's just a background check and if something seems out of place i bring it to where i feel it's needed as i don't need feedback from an admin telling me more then i need to know(if that's possible) as i know i did my part and hope things will be rectified as positive as possible.

as for the 'no more PM's' you prefer me to bring out anything i find positive or negative towards you out in public and not send it through PM? if that's allowed i have no problem bringing out anything i find on any member here to secure a better environment for us all...whether it's good or bad...so i guess this is 2 questions within this paragraph...1 for you and 1 for admins/mods to tell me it's ok to show the SaS world what i find to put under review(might actually work better and show that there will be no messing around while i am here to add security).

as far as i am concerned...if i got some time to check on members that the SaS team hasn't got around to or didn't/missed an area i found, than expect it done...it doesn't matter one bit if some member missed the extensive background check and has been a valuable tool to the site as of late...security is everyones concern in this business/industry and should never be taking lightly and if infractions found they need to be explained asap stylZZZ(aka immediately) and dealt with to the best of the abilities of team SaS.

*his issue has nothing to do with your issue...totally & completely different issues...his issue put me in security mode and off i went checking on you(see seperate issue)...how neat things come together eh?

which brings me to adding to this ideas thread about gear...which might need elaborations for issues like the 2 as of late

it's not up to us at all but hopefully my PM's to admins/mods and your PM's as well will help shed a tear on your 'past' issue and you can work something out or they can readjust some rules or not.

sure i'd like to be informed upon this afterwards but seeing something in public(like the sanctions thread) is good enough for me with any issues on this site i am a member of

hope that helped,

Clayton

btw this added idea post is to help your style of cause(not exactly yours in whole but in part)
